Actress Uche Jombo and husband expecting first child

Actress and movie producer Uche Jombo Rodriguez is expecting her first child with husband Kenny Rodriguez. Uche, who is in her first trimester, is currently in Nigeria shooting three movies, but is planning to leave Nigeria for the US in May and stay there until she gives birth. Big congrats to them.

What is it with the celebrity kids on your new movie, ‘Unconditional’?We didn’t set out to use celebrity kids. I told everyone including you the age range I want and people suggested the kids. Aghahowa’s daughter has wanted to act since age 5, we auditioned Chigozie, and she did well and got a coach to coach them. 2face’s daughter is just a drama queen. And this movie, Unconditional is not all about them, Dakore, Ruth Kadiri and I acted in it. It’s the kind of move that will touch the heart. 

If your husband were to be a serial philanderer like Desmond’s character in the movie, Lies Men Tell, what will you do?I will castrate him, he knows and believes that. To me, there is no excuse to cheat, its either you are with someone or not, and if you are tired of the person, please accord the person decency of respect by saying it’s over. Don’t go making someone look stupid. The problem with me is there is no in- between.

"My first opportunity to meet Uche was through my close Nigerian friend for the purpose of a  possible business together since Uche was a telecoms ambassador and in the US I run a communications company. But along the line I discovered she was passionate about making movies and was very hardworking. She gave me an opportunity to learn about her work, and I took advantage of that. It was easy for fall in love with her. I'm glad she chose me. I am happy we are together. Being married to her is unbelievable. Nollywood actress Uche Jombo-Rodriguez,  is a year older today as she turns 33.  She is a graduate of Mathematics   and Statistics from the University of Calabar  and Computer Programming   from the Federal University of Technology,  Minna.
With over 60 movies to her credit, the actress who is a native of Abiriba, in Abia   State, has become one of the   internationally acclaimed Nollywood stars with several awards under her belt.

Uche Jombo In The US For Corrective Eye Surgery

The superstar actress and movie producer found out she needed corrective eye surgery after going for a routine eye test to get a driver's license in the US.
One of the requirements of getting a driver's license in America is to go for an eye test to certify that you can see clear enough to drive. So Ms Jumbo went for hers, since she now spends a lot of time in the US with her husband, and doctors discovered she needed corrective eye surgery, now she's on for it. Wish her successful   surgery.
