Statement from Imo State Govt. on the kidnap of Nkiru Sylvanus

Popular actress Ms Nkiru Sylvanus, was kidnapped yesterday morning in owerri . She was last seen on the set of a movie a night before her kidnap in Owerri. The kidnappers took her and have already made contact with her family asking for N100million.
 An official statement has been dropped today from the Imo State government via the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Chinedu Offor. See it below...

"The Government of Imo State is aware of the kidnap of the Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Nkiru Sylvanus. All security agencies in the state are doing everything possible to get her back safely.
“The kidnappers have made contact with certain government officials. Government will offer a substantial reward to anyone with useful information about her whereabouts.”
