Did Genevieve Nnaji ever say Van Vicker doesn't know how to act?

In a recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, the Ghanaian actor addressed something Genevieve Nnaji allegedly said, that he's not a good actor. I doubt Genevieve would say this openly but read Van Vinker's response below...

I read the article but I wasn’t bothered about it because that was her opinion, and she is entitled to it. I never responded to it, and I don’t think I will. Nevertheless, I don’t have any ill feelings towards her. Now, whether her opinion has changed or is still the same, it doesn’t make much of a difference to me, because I know I am a fantastic actor and I am doing what I am doing with passion. I am enjoying it and I'm making the best I can of it.

Remember those photos of Genevieve Nnaji and Mikel Obi in South Africa you guys saw a few weeks back and wondered what was going on? Well, the mystery has been unraveled...:-). It's for a movie. Yep, Chelsea football star, Mikel Obi has made his Nollywood debut.

Mikel was actually in SA to star in an inspirational new movie alongside superstar actress Genevieve Nnaji. The new movie is titled The Journey, sponsored by Amstel Malta.

Its a new couple alert between Genevieve Nnaji and Mikel Obi. It is obviously not true as Genny is dating D’banj and Mikel has a Russian girlfriend.

But it is very obvious the Nollywood superstar and Chelsea FC midfielder are filming an ad in South Africa today. The pair are seen arriving in a Bentley and Aston Martin respectively, then heading inside a private jet.

Obi Emelonye apologises to Genevieve & Omotola...over 'jobless' statement

Obi Emelonye is formally issuing an apology to Nollywood superstars Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde for recent “misquoted” comments he made about them. Reports recently surfaced online that Obi gave the reasons why Genny who starred in Obi’s “Mirror Boy” and Omosexy in “Last Flight to Abuja” are currently jobless.
He was quoted to have said;

On Sunday, November 17, 2013, top singer, Peter Okoye of P-Square group, performed the customary marriage rites on his heartthrob, Lola Omotayo. The occasion, in all ramifications, was glamorous and classy.
Celebrities from all sectors were represented at the wedding which was held in Lagos. Funke Akindele, Banky W, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st, MayD, Genevieve Nnaji and others were all present at the event.
Speaking with TVC news at the wedding, the movie superstar gave a piece of advice to the couple on how to have a happy and joyful marriage.
According to Genny, as she is also fondly called, Peter and Lola should make sure they exhaust all avenues in settling their differences before involving a third party in their marriage.
Genevieve then prayed for the new couple to have a good home. She was also looking classy in her wear. The actress already has a daughter.

Happy 34th birthday to Ms. Genevieve Nnaji

 

 Genevieve Nnaji was born in Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. The fourth of eight children she was brought up in a middle class environment. Her father worked as an engineer and her mother as a teacher. She attended the Methodist Girls College Yaba before heading onto the University of Lagos. While at the university Genevieve began auditioning for acting jobs amongst the many Nollywood projects.

 The superstar actress is a year older today, May 3rd, 2013. Happy birthday to her and many more successful years ahead!
