Most washing machines offer a delicate or hand-wash setting, but
there are times when the best results will come from hand-washing
certain types of clothing. Always check the care label for directions.
If the label says "dry-clean only," avoid washing it at home. If the
label says "dry-clean," you may want to try hand-washing. Before you
wash the garment, check a small inconspicuous area first to make sure
the fabric is colorfast.
Items such as delicate lingerie, wool sweaters, and silk blouses may
retain their color and shape best when washed by hand. Silk garments
should not be hand-washed if they are brightly colored, patterned, or
darkly colored, as the dyes may bleed.
Step 1
Read the garment label for specific product recommendations. Then
choose the appropriate detergent. If no care label exists, choose a mild
detergent or dish-washing liquid.
Step 2
Fill a small tub or sink with water at the temperature recommended on
the care label. If no care label exists, choose cool to lukewarm
water. Add about a teaspoon of detergent. You may need more detergent
if you are hand-washing a large item or multiple items.
Step 3
Submerge the garment in the soapy water and soak. Use gentle
movements to swish the item through the sudsy water. Avoid scrubbing or
twisting actions that can stretch or damage the fabric. Gently swish the
garment through the sudsy water until the item is clean.
Step 4
Drain the sink or tub, and refill it with cool rinse water. Push the
garment up and down in the water until all soap is removed. If you're
unsure, sniff the garment to make sure it is no longer scented. Repeat
the process with clean water if necessary.
How to Dry Hand-Washed Clothing
Step 1
Gently squeeze the excess water from the garment. Do not twist or
wring the item as it may stretch the fibers and ruin the fabric.
Step 2
On a flat surface, lay out a clean, dry white bath towel that has
been laundered several times to remove lint. Lay the just-washed garment
on the towel, patting it into shape. Roll up the towel, encasing the
garment in the towel. Gently press on the rolled-up towel to encourage
water absorption. Repeat with another clean, dry towel if the first one
becomes saturated.
Step 3
Follow the garment's label directions for reshaping and drying. If no
care label exists, lay the washed garment on a clean, dry white towel
spread over a flat surface that is moisture-resistant. Flip the garment
over periodically, and replace the damp towel with a dry one as needed.
Air-dry delicate lingerie on a drying rack.
If the dry garment is wrinkled, check the care label for appropriate
ironing temperature, and if necessary, press the garment gently to
finish. If no care label exists, test in an inconspicuous area before
pressing.Follow BrickClicks on twitter for instant update
1. Fresh lemon water, especially first thing in the morning, can help relieve or prevent digestive problems like bloating, intestinal gas and heartburn and stimulate better digestion in general.
2. Lemons are antiseptic and have a powerful cleansing effect on you liver, kidneys and blood. An overworked liver in particular has an influence on how good you feel so having a simple way to cleanse it each morning can make a big difference to your daily energy over time.
3. Lemon water in the morning is a great way to get a good portion of your essential daily vitamin C. They are also a good source of folate and minerals like potassium, calcium and magnesium.
4. The high mineral content of lemons makes them alkalizing to the body, despite their citric acid. It’s actually not the acid content of a food outside the body that determines whether it will have an acid or alkaline effect, but rather the way it is metabolized during digestion that counts.
5. Lemon water assist in elimination and will help prevent either extremes of constipation or diarrhea. Another good reason to have them first thing in the morning.
6. Drinking lemon water is even said to be good for improving your skin. The high vitamin C content would help here, but the overall cleansing, detoxifying, antibiotic and antioxidant effects are likely to be even more important.
7. Limonoid glucosides are an interesting flavonoid compound present in lemons that some research has shown may have anti-carcinogenic properties. Its protective effect also seems to last much longer in the body than most other natural anti-cancer compounds.
8. Lemon water helps your liver to produce more bile to aid in the digestion of fats. This makes them particularly beneficial if you’re planning a big breakfast fry up after a heavy night. And realistically, the nutrients in lemon are far more likely to help clear your head than greasy and potentially dangerous sausages or bacon.
9. The antibacterial properties of lemon can help in curing a throat infection. If you have a sore throat you could make a warm lemon drink to sip every couple of hours. That said, if you are having a lemon water every morning you’re probably unlikely to get one in the first place. Personally, I can’t remember ever having a throat infection since I started regularly having fresh lemon water first thing.
10. Lemon water is also thought to decrease the amount of mucus and phlegm produced in the body. If you’re drinking cow’s milk often (a big culprit in mucus production) then lemon water each morning may help to lessen mucus levels in your body.
11. Many weight loss resources cite the benefits of lemon water and its citric acid in fat burning. I’d be cautious of too many miracle claims – you’ll still need to avoid the kind of foods that make you fat, get some good exercise and ideally change your meal frequency to one that improves weight loss potential – but lemon water is certainly a beneficial addition to any body fat reduction plan.
12. Lemon water is great first thing in the morning to reduce bad breath. The high antioxidant and antibiotic compounds may also help reduce body odor over time. There really are a lot of good reasons to start your day with the freshly squeezed juice of a lemon in a glass of water.

According to a large survey, less than 1 In 10 Americans sleep naked. This is a sad finding, considering the fantastic (and scientifically proven!) benefits of ditching PJ’s and slipping into our birthday suits. Check out these surprising health benefits of sleeping naked, ranging from improved hormonal balance and mood to less belly fat, more sex and beyond.
1. Boost your anti-aging hormones
Plenty of people like to feel cozy at bedtime, but a sleep environment that’s too warm can prevent the natural cooling that should take place in your body while you sleep. Keeping your body or your bedroom too warm (higher than 70˚F [21˚Cç) will disrupt the release of your main anti-aging hormones, melatonin andgrowth hormone. When we sleep in total darkness, melatonin is released, triggering a very slight but critical cool-down in the body. As body temperature drops, growth hormone is released and works its regenerative magic. In fact, sleep itself has been touted as a magic pill precisely because it encourages the release of this youthful hormone. In a study published in the journal Sleep, researchers showed that you can get safe, legal doses of growth hormone–and even improve athletic performance–just by hitting the sack for a deep, restorative sleep. Its also good for your health in other ways: researchers have found that people with normal or high blood pressure experience a 20 to 30% reduction in blood pressure and 10 to 20% reduction in heart rate during sleep.

A Gynaecologist(Woman Doctor) needs you to pass a message to
your females. Warning Ladies! Do not use soap to wash your
vagina. Don't use anything at all. It's self-cleaning. The discharge you
get through out the day? That's how the vagina cleans itself. Using
soap will only put you at higher risk of developing irritation or
infection. Using warn water and clean hand is enough. Discharge cleans
out dirt and dead cells. The vagina is also acidic so kills off harmful
bacteria while allowing healthy bacteria to thrive. You don't need to
clean your vagina, just your vulva but you do this with water only!
Soaps, washes, wipes are potentially harmfully and may kill off healthy
bacteria! Bear in mind that your vagina/vulva is made up of mucosa -
like skin but without the top protective layer. Mucosa is sensitive so
more prone to irritation from chemicals in soaps &washes. All you to
wash your vagina is clean hands &soap!

People who are overweight but physically healthy have the same
heart disease and cancer risk as normal weight people, according to US
research.
Provided people exercise and are "metabolically fit" with a healthy
blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar –– they are at no greater
risk of serious illness.
Researchers from the University of South Carolina studied 43,000
people. A third of those were obese and of those, 46 percent were found
to be metabolically healthy after a physical and lab test.
