Ghana Police saved my life - Yvonne Nelson after attack

Popular actress Yvonne Nelson has commended the Ghana Police Service for its recent rapid response to her distress call to rescue her and her friends from their attackers at a beach.

Reports on Tuesday had it that the actress was attacked by some four persons at an Accra beach. Yvonne would however not give details of what really happened at the beach when contacted.

When she finally spoke to NewsOne, she said; “I think the most important thing is to commend the Police for their quick response when I called their short code. It was so fast. I don’t know what would have happened to us if they didn’t come. I was surprised at how the police came that fast. It was amazing. It was like a movie and I must commend them,” Yvonne said yesterday.

Yvonne has in the past been receiving threat messages. Latter part of last year and early this year, she also received death threats.

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson who has been generating media fuss over her love life and profession, appears to have moved on from her failed relationship with Nigerian musician, Iyanya, as she sets a new criteria of her kind of man.

In a latest live twitter interview with Ynaija Friday afternoon, the sexy model cum producer revealed her dream man should be “tall, down to earth, intelligent and hardworking”.

"I really really loved Iyanya ' - Yvonne Nelson pours her heart out in recent interview

The Ghanaian actress had a very revealing interview with Bella Naija today where she opened up about her relationship with Iyanya and how much he hurt her. Read the cut below;

BN: How long did the two of you date and how would you describe the relationship?
YN: We dated for 7 to 8 months. We had something and I thought it was special, like he was a wonderful guy but it was all lies. He had other girls and other things he was doing. Aside the actress that was in the picture, there were a lot more. That is how bad it is. We were in a relationship and he lied throughout and he was able to do all those things because I wasn’t living in Nigeria. But aside from the distance, I feel if you’re a genuine person and you’re loyal, you would still not do that.
BN: Is this actress you’re talking about actually Tonto Dikeh?
YN: I feel it’s disrespectful to start mentioning other people’s names. I am talking about Iyanya because we had a thing, I don’t want to bring in a third person. There were a lot of names that people know. There was a girl from South Africa, I’m not going to mention names but she was part of Big Brother Africa last year.
