"Guess who shows up at in my house? Mummy! #nothinglikeamotherslove #jmelocasual"
Popular Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro, incurred the wrath of a section of her fan base over her recent comments on a scientific confusion that, “sperm whitens the teeth”.But as to whether she was speaking the fact, only scientists can prove. However, there are claims that there is some amount of calcium in semen, which is good for the teeth.
The beautiful actress tweeted saying, “They say the best whitening agent for ones teeth is sperms…”
But the tweet outraged a section of her fan base who thought a role model like her standing shouldn't be tweeting stuff like that. Some started to attack her, calling her a bad role model.
But ‘The Contract’ actress strongly defended her claim as she tweeted again saying, “you guys smh, (shake my head) you took the sperm fact and took it to a whole new level.
“So stating a fact about sperms or sex makes me a terrible role model, am nothing but myself it’s rather hypocritical to pretend it doesn’t exist,” she tweeted again.
"Last 2 years they said I was getting married to one actress. Last year they said I was married with 1 kids. I’m sure in 2 years they will say I’m the newest grandfather in town”When asked about the marriage certificate, John explained that there is indeed a marriage certificate but it was used as props for a marriage scene in a new documentary he is currently shooting at different locations in different countries all over the world. Harrina is saying something totally different.
"I think sometimes when you are acting, you feel like doing something that you want to be remembered for. Maybe in the course you overdo it. It depends on the script. I think in Ghana we wanted to start something, like a Trans-setter. I remember in those days, when people are kissing and they do it tackily, and we are thinking if you can’t kiss, then don’t do it. So I think we ended up doing it well or we are overdoing it. The truth of the matter is it exists in our culture.
Our culture does not allow topics like sex and nudity but in a way sometimes I think we are also being hypocritical. A Hollywood movie will come, we will watch it and be happy and compliment them. I think if you are going to do nudity, you should not do it in a tacky way. It should be done with what will conform to our culture. I think it is about choice, if you think you want to remove yourself and think it will help your character and you don’t have a problem with it, it is fine."
