Ralph Victor Folarin, better known by his stage name Wale, is a Nigerian-American rapper from Washington, D.C. Wale was born to Nigerian parents. He rose to prominence in 2006, when his song "Dig Dug" became popular in his hometown.
Full name, Olubowale Victor Akintimehin is living the American dream. The rapper rode into the American top 10 music charts in 2006 with the song, Dig Dug (Shake It).
Akintehinmiwa is the cousin of Hollywood actor Gbenga Akinnagbe. He was the first mainstream Washington-based artiste to officially crash hulkshare in 20 years. His rap song Breakdown was featured on the video game, Madden NFL 2009.
